IJM Land's Good Coffee Day & Secoya Residences

Having a cup of coffee in the morning will give Mommy Jane an energy boost. Besides that more and more research is emerging to suggest that there may be several health benefits associated with drinking this dark black beverage, from helping prevent diabetes to lowering the risk of liver disease. As what Poet Sheikh Ansari Djezeri Hanball Abd-al Kadir said "Coffee is the common man's gold and like gold, it brings to every man the feeling of luxury and nobility". Because of the love with Coffee, Mommy Jane brought eldest Angel, CM with me to join IJM Land's Good Coffee Day 2.0 at ICE Gallery in Pantai Sentral Park.
As Christmas approaching soon. IJM Land thought that the perfect gift for coffee lovers like Mommy Jane would be to spend a day immersed in all things coffee related, while providing the festive scene for much merriment. Mommy Jane and Little Angel were impressed with the decorations at the ICE Gallery which was decked out in Yuletide joy in the form of a Candy House that was as sweet to look at as it must have tasted.

Daniel Liew, the founder of the Barista Guild of Asia and also a globally certified trainer and certifier with the prestigious Authorised Specialty Coffee Association of Europe, had took coffee fans through the basics of brewing a perfect cup of coffee, while imparting his vast knowledge on the different coffee growing regions and their varietals of coffee beans in terms of taste and flavours.

We were also educated about the parameters that affect the quality of their beverage and had received useful tips after tasting exercises helped us to distinguish the finer points of the brew. The most interesting part of this workshop is, we had a personalised guidance from the coffee expert himself about how to correctly utilise the manual brewing equipment.
Grace Foo, Manager of Sales & Marketing for Pantai Sentral Park said that there's something about a cup of coffee that lends itself to conversations and community. Think about the good old days when neighbours might share a chat over the garden wall while sipping their coffee. That's what we'd like to evoke with this event, that coffee should be enjoyed in a comfortable environment amongst like-minded souls. At Pantai Sentral Park, they're all about this sense of kinship, as evident from their credo of People.Planet.Priority.
Coffee Day 2.0 had various facets of drinks too. There were also a host of coffee-centric activities to keep everyone in the spirit. There was freshly brewed coffee courtesy of Coffex Coffee, but if your tastes veered towards cold brewed coffee, good folks from coffee2GO had the best of it. What is coffee without the perfect mug to sip it from ? Kaleidos Art Tune was there to demonstrate how mugs and handles are skilfully crafted out of clay. Wow.... Mommy Jane really love the design of the mugs. Best place to have my hot coffee.

There are plenty of rich beverages and nibbles to feast on too. From the beautifully presented Eva's Homemade Nougat, to a crisp-on-the-outside and fluffy-on-the-inside waffles by Grid & Go and delectable tarts from the skilful pastry chefs at Harold's Academy, there was enough to satisfy even the sweetest tooth of them all.

If you were looking for inspiration on what to serve up for an eye catching finale after a sumptuous Christmas lunch, the cupcake decorating workshop provided handy insights into how to dress up your dessert. Conducted by the glamorous founder of Coffee Jean & Co. herself, actress Tania Zara brought a celebrity shine to the proceedings. Adding a cool mix to the sweet treats, Sketcher Ice Cream gave visitors a chance to try five different fruity flavoured ice-cream on the hot day.
Vivian Lee, an artist who created works of art through creative coffee caricatures, was there to present her very own coffee painting. Vivian had done a coffee caricatures on Mommy Jane's look and Mommy Jane loves it so much and it really looks like me. If you don't believe it, you can see the photo below.
While Vivian busy working on the coffee caricatures on Mommy Jane, Mommy Jane took this opportunity to take a group photo with Xavier Mah, PR of the event and my blogger friends, Rane and Charmaine. A great catch-up with all of you and hope you loves the keychains that I bought from KK
To further demonstrate the versatility of coffee, FAWN Beauty Co. had distributed jars of their all natural, hand crafted Cacao and Coffee Organic Body Scrub to the appreciative crowd. There are also Santa Claus and Santarina appearance giving away sweet treats to spread the good cheer during their walkabout sessions.
IJM Land's Pantai Sentral had a singularly unique development that combines the best aspects of urban and rural living to create Kuala Lumpur's One and Only Urban Forest City which inspired by the dream of luxurious living amidst verdant urban forest. Nestled amidst 200 acres of prime forest reserve, the land development which consists of 7 residential phases and 6 commercial phases, it is expected to be completed within 10-15 years, with the 3.47 acre Secoya Residences ready for homeowners in the beginning of 2019.
There are 2 inspiringly distinct interior designer concepts and each of it had their own unique appeal that are eminent customisable. The development sizes ranging from 1,050 square feet all the way to 1,670 square feet, each property within Pantai Sental Park is able to offer ample space for home owners to truly make it a unique extension of the personality.
Type A of the Living Area that adopts a duo-tone colour scheme to accentuate expansiveness and vibrancy. The ceiling panelling incorporates lighting arrangement that casts light and shadows on the walls and floor to create an illusion of the outdoor sunlight and leafy shadows. The wall moulded panelling and avangarde shelf for the TV area is an artistic touch to accentuate and a sense of movement to a blank space
Type A of the Living Area's wall where you could hang your sports equipments, Space-saving and underscores the prominence of sports and exercise in the lives of the residents
Type A of the Dining and open Kitchen Area with its high countertop that promotes the sense of understated elegance
The 2 bedroom, 1,050 square feet, Secoya Type A has a "Young and Energetic" concept which aimed at upwardly mobile professionals that are within the age group of 27-35 years old who are young and energetic with a passion for life and everything it has to offer. This design concept incorporates the lifestyle elements which are important to this group such as sports and exercise, fun loving and enthusiasm and harmonious simplicity with spaciousness.

After introduced homes for younger generations, older one like Mommy Jane with larger families will love the design to the 4+1 bedroom, 1,670 square feet Secoya Type C unit. The interior design here is a seamless union of vintage feel with a modern treatment of textures and expressions. This "Modern-Retro" theme is based on our need to connect with our fond memories of the past. For those in fifties with grown children who have spread their wings as young adults in college and high school, this interior design concept will fulfil their unique wants and needs by offering a more cosy, compact living space that is not only easier to maintain but exceptionally stylish too.
Type C of a Living Area, honed marble is used to highlight the wall texture in a classic Paisley floral motif. The custom-made rug with the floral motif accentuates the retro mood while the decor in entirely vintage-looking with an antique gramophone, radio and other similarly vintage items. Every unit is oriented towards the North with city views and South with forest and pool views to prevent undue heat gains. The 41-storey development adopts a non-conventional housing model with wide fronting living spaces combined with shallow floor plates that allow for natural lighting and ventilation along with strategically designed bedroom with wide window panes in order to allow for an unparalled view of the generous green realms and vertical gardens while framed by the lush forest surroundings of Bukit Kerinchi.

Thanks to Pantai Sentral Park and my PR friend, Xavier Mah for the invitation to join their Good Coffee Day event and a visit to their Secoya Residence show units. Mommy Jane and Little Angel had fun joining the activities, workshops and having our delicious meal there. The Secoya Residence had a very unique designs and Mommy Jane fall in love with their Type C design that looks suitable for Mommy Jane and 5 Little Angels to called as HOME. Times to bring Daddy here so that we could book a unit to have a luxurious home at Pantai Sentral Park for our future stay.
