DOC MCSTUFFINS

Received an exclusive blogger preview of a new magical animated series on preschooler's favorite channel, Disney Junior. We're delighted as all of us, Mom's bloggers get to watch the show before it was release on July 9 at 9.30am on Disney Junior (ASTRO Channel 613). Meet the young girl who treats stuffed animals and broken toys in her special playhouse clinic. Its a brand new series that combines every young child's wish of their toys coming to life with valuable lessons about health and wellness. The imaginative animanated series shares the stories and experiences of a 6-year-old Doc in her quest to treat and fix all the stuffed animals and broken toys in her home and neighbourhood.

Together with her stuffed animal friends Stuffy the proud dragon; Lambie, her best friend, Hallie, the jolly hippo nurse; Squeakers, the fish squeaky toy and Chilly, the snowman, Doc helps everyone she can, whether its a loose stitching, low batteries or blow-up toys that have a sprung a leak. "Caring for yourself and for others" is the message to all viewers. Doc's Mom is a doctor who helps Doc with her 'diagnoses" while her Dad is a chef who whips up healthy treats for Doc and little brother Donny.
Jennifer Ng, Executive Director of Marketing and Creative for Disney Channels Southeast Asia said "Parents really want their kids to be healthy, and Doc McStuffins can speak to young children in a completely creative and fun way about its important to make healthy decisions, as well as helping others to do so."

Doc's mission to treat and care for all her stuffedd animals and toys helps to demystify medicine and make doctor's visits less frightening for young children. In addition, the series features an original song in every episode, with titles like 'Be Good to Your Tummy' and "Wash Your Hands', plus its trademark songs in every episode, 'The Check-Up Song' and 'I Feel Better' sung once the 'patient' has been successfully 'treated'.
"Doc is a caring young girl who wants her 'patients' to feel better and get well making her a wonderful role model that children can relate to, and hopefully help them to relate to their own doctors too, making doctor's visits less of an ordeal," she explains.

Special thanks to Dr Yong who let us know more about children's health, sickness, overcome their fear when visiting doctors and first aid for children. Thanks also to Sophia from Indeed Communications for inviting us to have a fun evening with all my friend's bloggers here. Hope all of you enjoy the show as what we had on that very evening... :)
