First World Hotel Transformed its New Tower with New Era

Good news to all as Resort World Genting again set to be the largest integrated resort in the region with the new features it offers from Accommodation, Entertainment to Food & Beverages. The transformation started few years ago where new accommodation has been built and restaurants have been remodeled with more new ones to be introduced offering exciting dining experience to anticipate the Twentieth Century Fox World Theme Park which will be unveiled soon.

Here I am with my Little Angels to First World Hotel to review the rooms at Tower 2 Annex. a new era which is an extension to Tower 2. Phase One of the extension opened with 412 rooms and the balance of 874 rooms is targeted to open soon with ultimately be 7,351, making it one of the largest hotels in the world. Wow... Congrats to Resort World Genting for the achievement that will mades all of us, Malaysians so proud of the achievements.

This also marks a new milestone from the time the first wing of the hotel opened in 2000. Back then it was designed as a basic hotel providing comfortable, clean and affordable rooms. Today, travellers are well traveled and there is a demand for better quality rooms.

Every floor of the Tower 2 Annex had a very nice and cosy lift area

After much study on customer requirements, the First World Tower 2 Annex has undergone about one-and-a-half years of planning and renovations at the cost of RM300 million where guest now can expect a trendy and chic three-star hotel. Courteous and professional staff strive to deliver their best service. In line with the growing trends, rooms are sold without breakfast as there are many options in the complex for guests to enjoy the meal of their choice.

The signature Terminal 2 Cafe located in the lobby features freshly baked pastries, soups, snacks and beverages from 7.30 a.m. to midnight. Offering complimentary wi-fi, it is designed for those who are on the move and there are 48 seats for those wanted to dine-in.

For Express Self Check-In Kiosk, you can have a special request without need to queue at the line and save your precious time so that you can enjoy more

Combining Tower 1, Tower 2 and now Tower 2 Annex, , check-in is made more efficient with the E-Kiosk self check-in system. There are 29 units of E-Kiosk out of which 23 unites are located at Tower 1 lobby and 6 units at Tower 2 Annex lobby. Checking out also made easy with Check-Out E-Kiosk. There are 15 units located at Tower 1 and Tower 2 and 4 units at Tower 2 Annex lobby.

Procedures to check-in with the Check-In Kiosk. First, select the language, the nationality and if you're Malaysian, insert mykad, select your room type and after that made payment by cash or credit card

Those who had pre-paid advance booking can check-in via E-Kiosk by using their membership cards, MyKad or Passport. These E-Kiosk machines are developed by Genting Malaysia Berhad and manufactured in Malaysia.

XYZ Deluxe Room that offers 2 single bed or 1 queen size bed with fridge, kettle with tea and 2 bottles of mineral water

Elegant simplicity greets guests in their room. The new annex makes better use of space as compared to the initial two towers of First World Hotel. Designed to be functional but yet chic, the guest rooms come in lively and vibrant splashes of colour and design. The intention is to create a standard hotel experience, enhance room interior that is centred on a great bed to ensure a good night's rest.

The Tower 2 Annex has altogether 1286 rooms that offer brand new rooms such as XYZ Deluxe and XYZ Triple. The size of these rooms is average 170.70 sq ft.

XYZ Triple Room offers either 1 single bed and 1 queen bed. Ideal for family or a party of three

Other features that ensure convenience and comfort include a 32" flat-screen with television with in-house and local channels, telephone, mini fridge and a large laptop-sized in-room safe plus hair dryer, international socket and USB powered Ian access point.

The First World Hotel is within easy walking distance to the various highlights of Resort World Genting, namely Genting International COnvention Centre (GICC), Horizon 50, Arena of Stars and the soon to be opened Sky Avenue Mall, Retail and dining outlets, indoor theme park and Cineplex are all easily accessible. It is also within walking distance from the outdoor 20th Century Fox World Theme Park that will open in 2016.
