Smart Reader Celebrates Mid-Autum Festival with Ti-Ratana Welfare Society

Mid-Autumn Festival is here. Just 2 days left but my Little Angels started to play lanterns and enjoy having delicious mooncakes. Lots of activities awaits all of you as not only Chinese is celebrating it now, Indians and Malays too will join in the lantern parade organised by shopping complex i.e. 1U, Publika, Tropicana City Mall, Bangsar Village and lots more.

On Wednesday night, 23rd September, me and my Little Angels were invited to cover a charity event organised by Smart Reader Worldwide as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to foster harmonious relationships with the society, to promote the spirit of giving and sharing and to give back the community. The underprivileged children from Ti-Ratana Welfare Society celebrated this festival together with the staff and children from Smart Reader Kids.

Smart Reader Worldwide hopes to imbibe positive calues in the children by encouraging them to lend a hand to the less fortunate. The children are happy to become little CSR ambassadors and the staff adopt the values of CSR with commitment and passion. A good education for them to start of.

Its great to start of the children when they're young so that they'll learned to help those unfortunate. Moral reasoning and moral emotions will help the development of the children in their donating behaviour. It gives our children a powerful boost in self-esteem to help others. When you help a child help others, you're helping to create a better world. Hopefully my Little Angels learned something here and when they grow up, they'll make a different in someone's life.
