Any pies lovers here ? How about freshly served ovenly baked Chicken Mushroom Pie, Chicken Rendang Pie, Lamb Pie, Curry Chicken Pie, Steak Pie, Chicken Pot Pie and Beef Pot Pie. All sorts of pies could be found at Mr Pieman. Mr Pieman had been in the business for more than 12 years supplying pies to Airlines, Cafes, Hotels etc now opened its own café at Taman Tun Dr Ismail where you can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner with their other specialty also.
Here I am with my Little Angels to explore the specialty food served at Mr Pieman who is just 4 months old café at Taman Tun Dr Ismail. Let me bring you to the tour of the restaurant. It is a child-friendly restaurant as the place was spacious and there are few types of chairs and even baby chairs are available for you to choose so that you'll feel more relax while dining at the café.

Free wi-fi was available and there are some magazines for some free reading. So, if you really wanted a place for a peace of mind, the Mr Pie Man is the best choice to dine in a relax environment.

For breakfast, lets try their big breakfast which consist of specially made Jumbo Sausage, 2 potato croquettes, sautéed mushroom, baked beans, 2 eggs, 2 slices of whole meal bread with butter and homemade marmalade that cost RM14.90 Or for a simple meal, the Foldover at RM12.90.

For lunch, you can try their hot seller Chicken Chop. Served with soup of the day, fries, grilled tomato, side salad and a drink at RM16.90 net. The chicken was chrunchy to top up with their specially made brown sauce which is not spicy mades the taste fantastic and my Little Angels really love it.

For all the pies ordered, you can choose to have Ala carte, 3 bites (Means in smaller pieces) or in combo meal. All Combo meals are served with soup of the day, side salad plus soft drink.

I had tasted the Chicken Rendang Pie which was really good. The spices of the rendang with lots of finely marinated chicken really mades me very full. Pour some of the brown sauce gravy for the extra ummph...

My favourite was the chicken pot pie. It is like a pie baked at a pot. The chicken meat was tendered and well flavoured and generously stuffed inside with lots of mushrooms. The gravy was really good. The pie was fresh, not too thick and chrunchy. It is indeed delicious. Best to eat when it is still hot and fresh from oven. Yummy yummy yummy...

For starters and snacks especially for children, you can choose fries, chicken and potato croquette, chicken curry puff, scone and muffin. The sausage scone is the best as it is finely made to combine well with the scone.

ReplyDeleteNice to see more and more cafe sprouting up in the area. What I forese is once the hype died down, we'd see a lot of empty shoplots in the area. Just like how ChaTime and Snowflake was at one time, appearing like mushroom and then disappearing just as fast when no one cares for them anymore.
