Early Bird Chinese New Year Promotion for China Treasures at Sime Darby Convention Centre (SDCC)

Another 3 months, we'll celebrate Chinese New Year in year 2016. It is the most important traditional festival for Chinese and celebrated for 16 days. A must to have is a reunion feast where all the family members get together to enjoy the traditional dishes and every dish had its meaning of life. So, if you haven't decide where to have your reunion feast, then booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment later as most restaurant will be fully book by then. China Treasures restaurant of the Sime Darby Convention Centre (SDCC) will be ushering the Year of the Fire Monkey with festive set menus from 1 November to 31 December 2015. 

All set menus at China Treasures will include dishes to bestow happiness, longetivity, prosperity, luck, success and love. All these characters commonly associated with the Monkey sign. Now, let me introduce to all of you what is in the menu.
Golden Sea Whelk Yee Sang
Golden Sea Whelk Yee Sang with fresh Salmon Fish and Refreshing Pear Yee Sang. The higher you toss in the air with a shout of "Loh Hey" which literally means to "move upwards". It is symbolic of the wish for our fortunes to rise and expand during the forthcoming year.

The next dish is to usher the Fire Monkey Jump Over the Great Wall. Double boiled Nutritious Ginseng Soup with Dried Sea Treasures. Doubled Boiled Chicken Soup with Dried Scallop and Mushroom. It is indeed a nutritious soup to have a healthier you.

The third dish is the Roasted Free Range Chicken "Yin Yang" Style to Embrace the Beauty of the Golden Phoenix. Roasted Crispy Chicken infused with Five Spices and Garlic.

The fourth dish is the China Treasures Lobster Deluxe Combination Platter. Known as Monkey King Triumph Against the Sea Dragon.

Enjoying Wholeness & Surplus of Wealth by having Steamed Live Tiger Grouper in soy sauce & drizzled in truffle oil.  Fish or "yu" in Chinese mean extra or surplus have made fish an indispensable component in the Chinese New Year's dinner celebration.

Chinese New Year Banana Pancake & Golden Glutinous Nuggets means Monkeying Around with Bananas, a must to have dessert after every meal.

For the set of dishes introduced above which is available on 7 and 8 February 2016 which is on the eve and the first day of the Chinese New Year respectively, early bird promotion priced at RM2,080 nett per table of ten as compared to the orginal pricing of RM3,088 per table. This set will include a complimentary RM100 voucher (for use at next visit), free flow of chrysanthemum tea, a side of tidbits and a special gift.

Other vouchers available at only RM588 nett per table of six and RM798 nett per table of ten in November 2015. In December 2015, it'll be RM688 nett per table of six and RM898 nett per table of ten as compared to the original pricing of RM1118 nett per table. These value-for-money vochers are valid for use from 1 January to 29 February 2016. For this promotion, the dishes as follows :-

The popular yee sang package is also available for dine-in and takeaways from as low as RM98 nett. For those who want to "lou hei" at their own convenient, "Yee Sang Deliveries" will also be made available from RM108 nett onwards. Special banqueting packages for CNY Open Houses and Outside Catering Services are also available.

Bookings for personal or corporate celebrations at the restaurant, private rooms or the newly refurbished Grand Ballroom can be made with special discounts of up to RM15,000 for group bookings. Please also note that a minimum number of occupancy applies.

China Treasures is open daily for lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm (weekdays) and from 10.00am to 4.30pm (weekends and public holidays) as well as for dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. This halal-certified restaurant by JAKIM can accommodate up to 200 persons and hax six private dining rooms that can accommodate between 8 to 70 persons.

Thanks to China Treasures for the early CNY Food Review. Our dining experience was perfect. The ambience was great and the food was yummylicious. The presentation was beautiful. Every dishes had the best combination of taste with fresh ingredients. I really love each and every dish served. With the early bird promotion, it is really worth it to buy if now and plan early for your reunion lunch or dinner with your family and friends on this meaningful festival.
