Spending Quality Reading Experience with Scholastic Story Books

Getting a good and interesting story books are very important because it will build the interest of our children in reading. Recently I came across about Scholastic as it had a whole range of storybooks that suits my Little Angels' age.

Every night, I'll tried to spend some quality times with each of my Little Angels to read story books for them. They love to hear the way I made the stories in interesting way by act with it. It is indeed a bonding moment between me and my Little Angels throughout the night. It is a nurturing activity that bring all of us together.

Reading to toddlers and preschoolers are more likely to made them do well in their formal education. It is their learning critical language and communication skills. By listening to "Reading Clifford" Chapter Book Set that comes with audio CD will let them to express themselves and relate to others in a healthy way. "He is big, red and fluffy. Who ? He is Clifford, the big red dog !". By witnessing the interactions between the characters, as well as the contact during story time, my Little Angels is gaining valuable communication skills and to linked to a better grasp of the fundamentals of language  . For children aged 2-4 years old .

Reading "Around the World in 80 Days Puzzles"  made my Little Angels more logical in thinking skills where they need to decode the name of a party in Hawaii and learn about interesting people, famous places, traditions, music, dances and lots more. My Little Angel, WT, aged 6 love to do the activities in the book to solve the mystery case. This book is suitable for children aged 6-9 years old.

My Little Angel, CW who is 10 years old loves "Ella and Olivia" books on Puppy Trouble and The Big Sleepover coz' she really wanted a puppy forever and this story book related to her wish. Will Ella and Olivia get their wish too and can they keep their promise to look after him ? Do check this out. This book suitable for children aged 7 to 10.

For my boys, I choose "Boys Vs Beast #1 : Aquatan" coz' its about Kai Masters, a high-tech border guard and beast battler. Was Kai right to choose the Torpedo Bowshot to battle the water beast or will he work against the toxic jellyfish or will it be enough to take on a wave attack ? To get the answer above, check out on this book for boys aged 9 and above.

Battle Bugs #1 : The Lizard War is about eight-year-old Max finds himself mysteriously shrunken and whisked away to tropical Bug island. At the island, Max discovers that not only can he talk to the incredible bugs and insects that populate the island, but that they need his help coz' a rival island by retiles is threatening to take over. Only Max can save the day, as he uses his knowledge of all things insect to help the Battle Bugs fight back against the invaders !

Who said reading is boring ? With "LEGO Friends : The Attic Surprise", reading will be fun. It will help our children to solve the puzzles, playing games and building Miniset for children aged 7 to 10.
For my 12 year old girl, I choose EJ12 Girl Hero on Secret Safari and Making Waves. Its about girls' favourite spy hero is back. Dealing with new girl at school and how to overcome nervous at the school swimming carnival that might happen to their life at the aged of 9 to 12.

As our children approaches a major developmental milestone or a potentially stressful experience, sharing a relevant story is a great way to help ease the transition. Early reading will help them view books as an indulgence and not a chore. Kids who are exposed to reading are much more likely to choose books over video games, television, Ipad or other forms of entertainment as they grow older. Books have the power to benefit our children in many ways. So, reading to our children is one of the most important things we can do to prepare them with a foundation for academic excellence. Happy Reading, Everyone :)
