"Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan" for A Day Out

I went to Malacca last Sunday with my Little Angels for a day out to Malacca 5D Art Studio. The PR and the Company is kind enough to cover our breakfast, lunch and dinner and introduce some of the good food and restaurant to us in our "Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan" process. Here I am covering the food review on our journey to Malacca.

For breakfast, we went to Hornbill Kitchen which located at Pudu, Help University College. We had their signature Thai Keow Teow which looks like a noodle to me and the Tomyam bihun.
Thai Keow Teow priced at RM6.50
Thai Keow Teow tasted like those noodles that we had at Boat Noodles but here there is chicken wing and bitter gourd which mades the bowl of Thai Keow Teow taste nice. The Keow Teow was directly imported from Thailand.

Tom Yam Bihun priced at RM7.90
The tomyam bihun had lots of fresh prawns, squid and fish cake. The tomyam soup not so spicy and the taste just perfect for me.

After that, we had mushroom pau. The green colour is the Vegetarian Mushroom Pau and the dark brown is Chicken Musroom Pau. It is something new for us as compare to normal Pau that we had as the skin of the pau taste nice and the ingredients for the Pau was perfectly marinated to bring the taste of the Chicken Mushroom soup that we love to drink.
Selling 5000 buns a day, you can check out their facebook at https://www.facebook.com/xiao2ge to try and taste it yourself and I'm sure you'll love it too.

For lunch, we were brought to Restaurant Twenty Five which is just few shops away from Malacca 5D Art Studio. Here, you must try out their Satay Celup Mee coz' this is the only shop in Malacca who had this unique noodles. It taste good with the biscuits, peanut chrunch, eggs and noodles cover with soup which tasted like satay sauce. Even Ho Chiak team visited this restaurant before.
Satay Celup Mee. Small priced at RM5 and Big at RM6

For dinner, we were brought to Restoran Soft Shell Crab Specialist which famous for its fresh soft crab located at Seri Kembangan.

Our first dish is Poached Prawns in Chinese Herbs Soup which cost at RM60. The prawns were cooked in a pot wrapped with aluminium foil at our table for 10 minutes before served to us. The prawns were fresh, juicy and in big size. My Little Angels love it so much and wanted to have more but each person only can had one.

Our next dish is the Restaurant famous dish, Special Soft Shell Crab. Salads with tomato and cabbage were served at a mini cup. Put the cup upside down to a plate and put the crispy soft crab on top. Pour a sweet tangy sauce from the teapot and enjoy it in one bite. Priced at RM60 per set.

Yummy yummy yummy...
The third dish is Steamed Kampung Chicken with Chinese Herbs drop from Wulu that comes with the essence of chicken. It is slowly steamed using the vapour of boiling Chinese herbal broth. It is a complicated way of cooking it that mades the taste excellent. Priced at RM45.

Our fourth dish not for sell coz' the Chef had made this special chicken that taste like Rendang Chicken to me. He personally mixed the curry herbs and cooked it with the chicken. Not too spicy and the taste was perfect for me and my Little Angels.

Fifth dish is the Signature Braised Claypot Pork Knuckle that priced at RM50. It is finely marinated to bring out the fulfilling taste. For pork lovers, you should go for this. Best to eat with white rice to bring out the taste of the sauce.

The sixth dish is the Claypot Beggar Rice. My first ever experience eating this and I love the taste of the clear rice that comes with loads of crispy pork lard which bring out the taste of the dish. Priced at RM50.

Our seventh dish is the stir fried kailan with Hong Kong Preserved Veggies price at RM30. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy with a bit of spicy that mades me wanted for more.

Our dessert is fresh fruits to help us in digestion. Sweet honeydew and watermelon.

Restaurant Soft Shell Crab Specialist located at Lot G-01, The Heritage Village, Jalan SB Dagang, 43300 Seri Kembangan. Do contact them at 03-89530321 for early reservation and booking of the special dish.

Me and my Little Angels enjoyed our Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan for a day out as we got to tried out so many new food and dishes at the restaurant that we never go before. All thanks to Gourmet Hunter KL for the Makan-Makan tour. We truly enjoyed our whole day of eating and will definitely visit all these restaurant again and introduce it to Daddy who didn't join us on that day and also to our family and friends.
Happy Moments with the PR and all my Food Blogger Friends

  21. When I arrived at detoxification a week later of drinking Green energy drinks, I had a level of brain clarity like I had never encountered previously. I felt like my psyche was being opened to a whole new planet that I had never encountered up to that focus.
