Raising a child is not an easy task and I am truly blessed to have my 5 Little Angels. As a full time professional working Mom, I will always ensure that what I put inside the mouth of my 5 Little Angels will be for the best for their health so that they will grow up happy and healthy from the day they were born. Giving them a good milk in their growing up years is very important because milk is a good source of protein, calcium and Vitamin D which is important for growing kids.
As all of us aware that most packaged foods contain "added sugars" that are added into our foods or drinks during the manufacturing process of products. Although it may taste better, too much sugar could lead to health complications in the future. Even paediatricians recommend not adding sugar to our child's food because it can influence the kid's taste preference, lead to tooth decay and obesity. This is the reason why Mommy Jane had choose Anmum Essential with no added sugar for my Little Angels.
Anmum Essential is the growing up milk range by Fonterra which is one of the largest dairy producers in the World. Fonterra dairy comes from grass fed cows in New Zealand with the promise of quality and great taste. Anmum Essential is also fortified with DHA and Nuelipid for higher levels of GA (Gangliosides) which are key for brain nutrients while Inulin and FOS are dietary fibres that are important in creating a good intestinal environment for effective absorption of nutrient with all the important vitamins and minerals for our Little Ones.
Some Moms might ask me on how to check whether the milk has added sugar. It is very simple. Just look at the "ingredients" section on the product label. Then identify some of the common examples for the sugars' names such as Brown Sugar, Corn Syrup Solid, Dextrose, Fructose, Glucose, Glucose Syrup Solid, Maltose, Maltodextrin and White Sugar. From the survey that I had seen, it is proven that Anmum Essential ingredients are without any sugar added as per their packaging below :-
Let me share 3 tips to reduce sugar intake for our Little Ones. First we need to be smarter for the choice of our shopping. Look for low sugar, sugar free and no added sugar. Look out for hidden sugars in the labels. They come in many different names that can be easily missed. Second, replace added sugar in our Little Ones' diet by substituting with something natural such as fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Kids need the energy to play and to be kids! Third is to be a role model and practice low sugar diet for the whole family. Hope all these information will make you a Better Mom with Healthier and Happier Child.
