Mid-Autumn Festival will be held on next Wednesday, 4th October 2017. To celebrate the heartwarming festive, Sunway Putra Mall gathers nearly 1,000 multicultural participants at the Lantern Parade to celebrate the love, culture and diversity. The Mall was decorated with lanterns with variety of shapes and colours and a gigantic Lantern made out of recycled fabrics. All children appeared in high spirits and can be seen roaming around and the Mall had created this platform to promote racial harmony and promote recyling.
Public and children from 2 charitable homes i.e. Yayasan Chow Kit (YCK) and Touching Lives Club Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (TLC) had joined the Lantern Parade to make it a memorable occasion. Mommy Jane and Little Angels had joined the Lantern Parade. We enjoyed watching the Dragon Dance performance and the story-telling on why Chinese celebrated this Mid-Autumn Festival. The event was supported by Malays, Chinese, Hindus, Foreigners and other ethnics in conjunction with the Mid-Autumn Festival. Thanks to Sunway Putra Mall for sponsoring the beautiful fish and rabbit lanterns, the candles and mooncakes for everyone who had participated to understand the Chinese Cultural.
