The more we look beautiful, the more we feel good about ourselves. To enhance my life especially during these Chinese New Year, I went to the Beauty Expert Academy Spa which located at Cheras to understand more on HIFU treatment. What is HIFU treatment? HIFU stands for High-intensity focused ultrasound and is a relatively new cosmetic treatment for skin tightening that some consider a noninvasive and painless replacement for face lifts. It uses ultrasound energy to encourage the production of collagen, which results in firmer skin. I am lucky as being chosen to be the model for HIFU treatment.
HIFU treatment is not a painful procedure. As the high-intensity focused ultrasound energy as delivered, I feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths within the skin. This is an indication that the collagen-building process has been initiated. The feeling either pin pricks sensation or a feeling of heat.
