IPC Shopping Centre Unveils Lagom Life: A New Era of Balanced Shopping, Dining, and Connection

IPC introduces a new lifestyle concept that brings harmony to how you explore, indulge, and connect – not too much, not too little, just enough!

As a busy Mom juggling work, kids, and household needs, finding a place where I can shop, eat, and relax with my little ones is like striking gold. That’s why I was so excited to explore The Lagom Life at IPC Shopping Centre – and let me tell you, it’s exactly what every mom needs.

Inspired by the Swedish philosophy of balance and simplicity, The Lagom Life is all about “just the right amount”, not too much, not too little and it really shows throughout the whole mall. Whether I’m running errands, having a bonding day with the kids, or simply grabbing some me-time, IPC makes every visit feel just right.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-Friendly Comfort
IPC’s kid-friendly amenities truly impressed me – from baby strollers and clean, anti-bacterial family rooms to safe play areas where the kids can have fun while mommy can take a short breather (much needed!). Plus, everything is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for all moms with kids.

🍜 Yummy Options for Everyone
Dining has never been easier! My picky eaters loved spots like Taste of Medan and Dunkin’ Donuts, while I enjoyed trying something new at Chagee and Luckin Coffee, their coffee is so good!. And for our next visit, I’ve already bookmarked FUIYOH! It’s UNCLE ROGER and the upcoming Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh. Yummy!

Lunch at Hana Japanese Dining

The meal started with flavourful Spicy Chicken Karaage, a crispy and well-seasoned and the Daikon Foie Gras, which was rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced. I really enjoyed the Una Maguro roll, a fresh and savoury combo of unagi and tuna. The highlight from the new dishes was definitely the Crispy Chicken Mantou with Mala Mayo, a spicy, crunchy treat with a local twist. I also tried the Inaniwa Udon (Hot), which was comforting and perfectly chewy.

For dessert, the Mango Pomelo was light and refreshing, and the drinks like “Rebina Lychee” and “Mint To Be” added a fun, cooling touch to the meal. ✨ Great flavours, thoughtful presentation, and a calm, cosy dining space. Perfect for a lunch date, business meal, or casual catch-up.

🛍️ Shopping with Purpose
What I love most about IPC is how everything feels curated and not overwhelming. I can get my groceries done, pop into MR. DIY Plus, and still have time for a quick coffee break, all without feeling rushed. It’s just the right size and has just the right stores. They even have work pods if I need to sneak in some emails while my Little Angels can go to Popular Book Store to get some books and stationeries and shopping shopping shopping!

King Living

Visited King Living recently and was truly impressed by the professionalism and product knowledge of their representative. They patiently walked me through the various sofa and collections, explaining the differences in materials, modular configurations, and hidden features like adjustable headrests, integrated charging ports, and storage.

Harvey Norman
Tour at a two-storey Harvey Norman at IPC (Unit L1.10/L2.07) is a true one-stop destination for furniture, bedding, electrical appliances, computers, cameras, and more. Focusing on their Bedding Series and electrical appliances, and it was surprisingly insightful.
The representative gave an in-depth walkthrough of various mattress brands and highlighting the differences in support levels, materials, and cooling technologies. We even got to test out adjustable bed frames, which was a fun and eye-opening experience, especially for those considering comfort and posture support at home.

The tour continued through their home electrical section, where the staff introduced the latest in smart home tech, kitchen appliances, and air purifiers. I appreciated how they explained features in layman's terms, comparing brands side-by-side without hard-selling.

Whether you’re furnishing a new home or upgrading essentials, this tour gave a clear picture of what’s available and what suits different budgets and lifestyles. Friendly, informative, and very hands-on!

Cutiecle The Nail Experts

Made a quick pit-stop at Cutiecle The Nail Experts, and it was the perfect little beauty break I didn’t know I needed!  The space was clean, relaxing, and well-organised creating a calm vibe from the moment I walk-in. They use high-quality, gentle products, and the polish selection was surprisingly extensive with trendy colours and long-lasting gel options. For anyone needing a quick beauty refresh or self-care break in between errands or shopping, Cutiecle is a fantastic go-to. Professional, clean, and surprisingly therapeutic, even for a short visit.

Workshop at Good Times DIY Studio

Dropped by at IPC for their pottery painting session, and it was such a relaxing and joyful creative escape! Instead of making pottery from scratch, we were to paint a ready-made ceramic piece with plenty of options like mugs, plates, mini planters, and cute trinket holders. The studio provided everything: brushes, sponges, and a wide range of colourful ceramic.

The space was cosy and bright, with chill music playing in the background, a perfect for getting into a creative flow. The staff were super helpful, offering tips on blending, layering, and design ideas, but also gave us space to experiment and enjoy the process at our own pace.

What I loved most was how no experience was needed. Whether you're artistic or just want to unwind and do something different, it’s a great way to express yourself. Once done, they’ll glaze and fire your piece, and you can collect it in about 3 months.

♻️ Sustainability Goals = Mommy Approved!

Teaching our kids about sustainability starts with us, and IPC makes it so easy. Their Recycling & Buy-Back Centre (RBBC) is such a great initiative and there are even fun weekend eco-workshops that suitable for all the kids! It is also super convenient, clean, and easy to use. They accept everything from paper, plastic, e-waste, to textiles and cooking oil.

Love that we can earn Tack Club points through the IPC app. A great incentive to recycle more! Staff were helpful and the self-service setup made the whole process fast and smooth.

🚗 EV Chargers & More!

If you're driving an electric vehicle, IPC has you covered with upcoming Tesla EV chargers. Is that cool? And parking has always been a breeze here.
