Since its a long holiday for Merdeka day, me, my husband and my eldest Angel, CM went to experience something new in our life i.e. Dining in the Dark. It is actually a restaurant name and the concept as per the name where we eat and drink in a totally dark place. We took almost an hour to find the place and the parking as the parking there not only illegal but very expensive. Once parked, had to pay RM20 but we try to look out the cheaper one and far a bit also need RM15. We drove further somemore and it was just our lucky day as no need to pay at all at the place that we parked but need to do some exercise first before reached to our destination. Ha ha ha....
We had to wait for around half an hour at the bar table there while waiting to be seated. We had to choose our food and drinks in advance before we were allowed to go in the dining room...

According to their Manager in charge, Monica, they hire blind waiter and waitress to serve the food. Since totally darkness, I think those blind waiter/waitress knew the best when and where to serve the food to their customers since they already used to feel it. The Manager said with this concept, they open more opportunities for the vision impaired person to get a job...
We cannot see what been served and what we had eaten or drank but we can taste and feel it. Even for each course, there are food that was steam, grilled and fried. For the starter, got salads as usual and some biscuits and fruits. For the soup alone, there are 2 types. 1 is like black pepper soup and another looks like tomatoes soup. For main course, there are grilled fish, fried chicken and grilled lamb, if not mistaken. Ha ha ha... As for desert, can taste a coconut ice cream with fried banana and popiah too. Hope my answer to most of the dishes are correct as I really can't see what I had ate and only can feel it. Some of the food taste good like the grilled fish and the ice cream. Yummy yummy yummy... Other food, the taste was a bit different from what I normally ate. Each portion consider quiite a bit portion and we can't even finish our food. So, when you plan to go there, made sure you're hungry enough to finish all. Ha Ha Ha...
