Genting Behind-The Scenes Tour

Now, we shall continue with the second part of my Genting trip. Do refer to the first part  about my experience visiting Ice Age Adventure at this link http://5-little-angels.blogspot.com/2014/09/ice-age-adventure-at-genting.html. After our first part of visit, we had our lunch at Coffee terrace located at Resort World Genting. Variety of delicious food available from Western, Chinese, Malay, Japanese and other cuisines which you'll definitely be spoilt with lots of choices available.
My blogger friend, Miera enjoying all the food served
The second part, I'll give you a tour on the Behind-The-Scenes Tour which is now the latest hype at Resort World Genting. It has turned into an exciting activity for patrons who set foot at the resort. The "Behind-The-Scenes" Tour has begun its inception since 1 May 2014 and has been ongoing till date. What started off to be a month tour had eventually become a monthly routine due to great response from participants as everyone want to know the secret to the development of Genting.
Briefing on how Tan Sri Dato' Lim build his career and develop Genting
The 2 hour and 45 minutes tour that happens every weekend offers participants valuable insights into the resort daily operation starting off with a visit to the Visitors' Galleria showcasing where the resort first began. The 30 minutes showcase will take you from history to what's new at the resort. Some of the exciting news would be the latest development at the resort and also the all new Twentieth Century Fox World. Immerse yourself in a wonderful journey of discovery of the resort's founder, Tan Sri Dato' Lim Goh Tong. Tan Sri was borned in China. At the teenager age, Tan Sri had travel to Malaysia and started his first job as carpenter before he rise to became a billionaire. Tan Sri had shared his secret through the video that we watched on that day i.e. is to work hard and use our brain to think first before start the job.

CW had learned so much here on the development of Genting and its history
Next, we were ushered to visit the Genting International Showroom where technical experts brought us through the management of back stage, lighting and sound control involved during a show or event. This will serve as an eye opener visit to participants who are looking forward to learn something hands-on. Who knows, you might even find your passion in this field.
Yeah... We are at Genting International Showroom now
Another activity that participants can look forward to in the tour is to visit the First World Hotel's laundry which is the largest hotel laundry in Malaysia and have first-hand view and knowledge on how the hotel manages all its dirty linens. Participants will also be able to witness how the clothes are all ironed with a special machine. Some of the machines cost over RM150k. Wow... So, it is indeed a rare occasion and best opportunity for us to explore...

The "Behind-The-Scenes" Tour will end on a high note with an interactive and enjoyable programme that takes visitors to "how to make sushi maki and cupcakes" in a See, Do & Eat workshop. Participants will be able to learn how to make simple dishes from their Chef and that's one more skill added to our repertoire before concluding the day. Such a fun activities that we had and be creative...
Fun workshop for all

All my blogger friends with their loved ones
Thanks to Resort World Genting for the wonderful trip. Me and my 2 Junior Rangers enjoyed it so much and at least we had learned something from Tan Sri Dato' Lim. Tan Sri had inspired us to work hard and think out of the box in order to be a successful person as money won't drop from the sky. You must find way to earned it and with all your hardwork, I believed nothing is impossible. It depends on whether you want to do it or not. This is the concept that I always reminded myself to improve further in my life. I hope my 2 Junior Rangers will follow too. Thats the end of the tour and I hope all of you had enjoyed reading it and to experience it yourself with your loved ones. Do check out my 2 Junior Rangers post also at http://2-junior-rangers.blogspot.com/2014/10/trip-to-genting-to-meet-ice-age.html where they'll share their experience there. Check out the video here...
