Konichiwa... On Sunday, 16th November 2014, I brought my 5 Little Angels to Tokyo Street at Pavilion to celebrate Shichi-Go-San Festival. What is that festival for ? All of you must have wonder it. It is actually a traditional rite of passage for children aged 3, 5 and 7. Upon arrival, my 5 Little Angels were ushered to change their outfits to Japanese Kimono and then took insta-photo. They're so cute with the costumes, am I right ? Ha ha ha...

The activites start with a Japanese woman told us the meaning of the Festival. It is to pray for good health of the children. Normally this festival held on 15th November every year as from the age 3+5+7=15. The celebration was big in Japan but here in Malaysia quite new to us. Nevertheless, since it involve my 5 Little Angels, I hope they'll grow up healthily and happily...
After that all the children were taught to speak basic Japanese greetings with the words too. There are around 6 groups that consist of 5 kids each and when the tutor put a sentence there, all kids had to form a group with the word given. "Arigatou" means thank you, "Konichiwa" means hello and "Sayonara" means good bye. Thats what me and my little Angels had learned from there.

Children also got to watch the dance performance by the 2 cute Japanese girls and after that all children and parents include me were taught how to dance Japanese dance. First time dancing it and really enjoyed the movement of it...

For doing a great job, all the children were awarded with Ninja weapon, the flying soccer, a giant candy from Sticky and Panda Cookies. Arigatou to Pavilion Junior for organising such a great event as my 5 Little Angels got to learned some of the cultural celebration by Japanese and a basic greetings in Japan language. A memorable experience and a great education to all of us. Sayonara to all my readers and hope you enjoyed reading my review here.
