Deepavali Celebration with PETRONAS Malaysia

Deepavali or Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights which celebrated every year to signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance and hope over despair. All Malaysians, no matter what ethnic we are, will celebrate it on this Saturday, 29 October 2016. In conjunction with Deepavali celebration, PETRONAS Malaysia had made a video to remind all of us as Malaysians that we should respect each other's differences and embrace similarities. Let's watch the meaningful video below :-

This video is about a story of 2 young men who are discriminated because of their appearance but in the end, they turn out to be good people. The lesson that we learned was, we should not judge a book by it's cover and to always look out for the positive vibes in other people. Mommy Jane hope these festival of light serves as a reminder to all of us to have compassion for others. Let the light shines within us and continue respect each other as both individuals and as Malaysians. Mommy Jane always believe that a greater harmony can be achieved through greater understanding and compassion. We should instill this harmony value to our younger generations so that they understand the meaning of 1 Malaysian and every festival that we celebrated each year together no matter what ethnic we are, we are always 1 Malaysian. Happy Deepavali to all my Hindu friends and every Malaysians that celebrate this festival of lights.
