IJM Land is planning its annual carnival for Seremban 2 with the exciting theme of ‘Fit & Foodie Carnival 2017’, to be held at IJM Land’s S2 Sales Office on next Sunday, 19th November from 9am to 6pm. Expect some delicious foods, free gifts, and interactive games and contests to encouraged everyone who attended to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle with a positive outlook by motivating residents and visitors to focus on good health and lower their stress.
All passionate foodies
can anticipate a wide variety of food to be sold from various food trucks and
stalls that can be bought at a special price using coupons provided by IJM Land
during the carnival. Dato’ Hoo Kim See, Senior General Manager (Central Region) of
IJM Land Berhad believes that living a balanced lifestyle is crucial to be rooted
in each individual, as a healthy, happy mind can contribute to a good health.
Dato’ Hoo at press conference in announcing for Seremban 2 ‘Fit & Foodie Carnival 2017’ recently said that the theme for their carnival well reflects the
personality of most Malaysians, who enjoys the occasional good food with their
friends and family, yet fully accepts the importance of living healthily. He also believe in the importance of spending
quality time with your loved ones and also in living a well-balanced lifestyle,
as happiness can only be achieved when we make time for ourself where necessary
so that we can keep up with all our responsibilities.
For all cooking enthusiasts as well as the fitness junkies,
do mark that thrilling Sunday date in your calendars,
as visitors will get the chance to meet their favorite local celebrities and
Malaysian icons Dato’ Chef Fazley Yaakob, Masterchef Celebrity Malaysia &
Artiste, and Ms. Goh Liu Ying, Silver Medallist of the Rio Olympics 2016 who
will both be the special guests at IJM Land’s Seremban 2 Fit & Foodie
Carnival 2017.
Dato’ Fazley Yakoob will be demonstrating his brilliant cooking
skills and teaching visitors how they can still enjoy the food they love and lead
a healthy lifestyle, whilst Ms. Goh Liu Ying will speak about healthy living
and how each and everyone can schedule a time each week to allow oneself to
de-stress, and spend a few minutes on relaxation each day.
Dato’ Chef Fazley and Ms. Goh will be joining us for this event, as a balanced living means considering all
aspects of our life, including relationships, work, fitness and health, and
emotional well-being.
Besides enjoying the delicious part of the
carnival, there will also be a hunt for Ms. and Mr. Fit Fashion Icons as well
as the Best Jazzercise Dance contest (a combination of aerobic exercise and
dance fitness that will have everyone shaking at the hips), colouring contest for
the little kids, ‘Recipe Corner Contest’ for the highly talented chef in the
family to share their secret recipes, along with games stalls where visitors
have the opportunity to win some great gifts, giant bubbles and photo booth specially
prepared for visitors.
Another highlight in the carnival is the lucky draw session
dedicated for IJM Land’s property buyers with up to 30 prizes to be won. Potential
buyers interested in purchasing IJM Land’s properties will also be pleased to
know that there will be a special 2-days promotion for 18 and 19 November,
where they will get extra rebates when buying any of IJM Land’s properties.
As part of the CSR, IJM Land is also taking the opportunity to organise for the
first time a Hair Donation campaign in collaboration with Locks of Hope, the
first in ASEAN to provide a platform for public to donate their hair to be
turned into wigs for cancer patients. A blood donation drive is also organised
as part of giving back to those who needed it the most.
Dato’ Hoo said that
organising a carnival with the involvement of the residents will strengthen
their relationship and also have residents / potential buyers build up their
trust in IJM Land in providing them the best development and services. Activities like these
are carried out every year with the objective of fostering unity, reuniting
friendship and promoting healthy community living amongst Seremban 2 residents
and, additionally, with the folks of Seremban.
