NNRaya Open House 2014

This is my first time joining Nuffnang Raya Open House. Thanks to my blogger friend, Sherry who taught me way to join the contest through Instagram and its my lucky day perhaps as able to win those invitation passes. After able to pujuk my youngest daughter not to go, I brought two of my little Angels with me i.e. WH and WT as passes are limited. We are a bit late as Mommy not really feeling well on that day and have to take a nap first before joining it but no matter how serious it is, Mommy and my little Angels still able to have all the fun that we needed on that day. Ha ha ha...

Once we reached, we were given a checklist things that we need to do so that we are entitle for the lucky draw. So, Mommy and my 2 little Angels go to that respective booths, post and take photo of it as hope to bring back the Samsung S5 home. The first booth that we went is at upstair of the bungalow. We went to U-Mobile. We got to made any calls whether local or international for FREE. So, since I miss my 2nd Sis at Singapore so much, we use U-Mobile to call her and got all the updates from her. My Angels also able to chit chat with their lovely Aunt for a moment. Tqvm U-Mobile for connecting us near or far...

Our next Challenge is to write a message at the board, a Memory Wall. Mummy wrote "Happiness For All" and my little Angels wish everyone "Selamat Hari Raya". We pinned our message at the wall before post for photo.

Then we proceed with the next challenge i.e. playing Malaysian traditional game, congkak at the Ambi Pur counter and took photos with Ambi Pur and Febreeze products. We got to try the products and spray it and its really refreshing. Mommy also post the photos at Instagram as able to bring some of the products back at home. Tqvm, Ambi Pur for the sponsored.

Next we have to take photos at the Wowbooth. Posing and wearing all the accessories, we had so much fun as my little Angels want to be a Superhero on that day. Captain America and Ironman come to protect their Mom with their super power. Ha ha ha... Tqvm Wowbooth for the sponsored...
Our next challenge is joining games organised by the Emcee. Mommy had joined 4 games in total. 1st game is Q&A, 2nd and 3rd games were making an advertisement and posing photos with 2 other blogger friends with Ambi Pur as the main Sponsored. 4th game was making call to anyone using U-Mobile and ask that person one of the question i.e. the colour of U-Mobile logo and U-Mobile no. start with what. The answer is U-Mobile logo colour is orange and the no. start with 018. Even though Mommy did not won all the challenge but Mommy really enjoyed it so much...
Tqvm to Nuffnang for the invitation to #NNRaya Open house. We had enjoyed the session so much. Food, games and meeting up with my blogger friends, Sherry, Ayu, Rabiatul, Maha, Soon, Ida, Janice and lots more and making new friends from the event. To all the Nuffnang staff that mades the event so happening, TQVM from the bottom of my heart. Glucerna Challenge Me

Did you know that Diabetes refers to a group of disease that affect how your body uses blood glucose, commonly called blood sugar. Glucose is vital to your health because it's an important source of energy fot the cells that make up your muscles and tissues. Diabetes is a worldwide public health concern. This is not exactly “fresh” news to Malaysians but it is undeniable that diabetes has now become a social disease that is affecting lower age groups.  It is essential for people with diabetes to have a reliable plan that can help them manage their conditions and juggle the never-ending demands of both work and personal life. If it is left untreated, patients may face various complications such as heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, blindless, leg amputations, nerve damage, high blood pressure and skin complications. Such a deadly disease and my grandma passed away because of having diabetes that leads to high blood pressure and heart attack. She passed away peacefully during her afternoon nap. Few of my cousins also had diabetes as it inherit from generations to generations and some have to take insulin injection especially during pregnancy...   

AND NOW there is a way out there and Abbott Nutrition Malaysia recently launched the “Glucerna Challenge Me programme”, accessible via online portal and mobile application, that seeks to educate diabetics on the means to improve their quality of life by provision of useful nutrition and lifestyle pointers. At Culinary 19, Damansara Heights last Saturday, been invited by Glucerna in collaboration with Butterfly Malaysia, to raise awareness of Diabetes amongst all Malaysians. Nutritionist gave us lots of useful information on the disease and after that we were taught the way of making cupcakes using Glucerna. Chef Zuriati show us a healthy way as with Glucerna, we still can have a healthy diet by making delicious cupcakes. Comes with strawberries and kiwi, it can be yunmmylicious too...

We were also served with Glucerna drinks and they mix it with fresh strawberries for vanilla flavour and banana for chocolate flavour. I had few cups of it and it was really delicious. Yummy yummy yummy...

Converse Jack Purcell Pop Up @ The OffDay

It was a great pleasure for me being invited to witness Converse Jack Purcell’s Fall 2014 range, a collaboration with local fashion artist and curator Irman Hilmi and his boutique The Offday at Jalan Telawi, Bangsar which kicks off the launch.

The Converse Jack Purcell Cross-Stitch is the star of this event. As the hero of the Fall 2014 for Jack Purcell’s range - a waxed cotton cross-stitch detail - outfitted in leather, a core texture for seasonal dressing. The premium and quality leather materials and subtle stitching details in the sneaker collection are refined and built with all around comfort.  


Whilst everyone has heard of Converse, Jack Purcell has been around creating sneakers since 1935. The classic sneaker with its iconic “smile” toecap perfected the brand as a household favourite stylish sneaker. Converse Jack Purcell has been moving the brand into the vintage-classy direction and re-outfitted in sophisticated soft tumbled leather.

The media and guests were also treated to a night of Do-It-Yourself Coffee and Accessories Crafts Workshop, in theme with the Jack Purcell identity of The Power of Creativity over Convention.

Eddie Lim then ends the event with his upbeat harmonica-rock set that sends the guests into the night. For your information, Jack Purcell had 46 outlets in Malaysia alone and thousands in Worldwide. Lifetime #MomsTimeOut

Every Mom like me needs a time out. Time out from stress at work and time out from family matters as we work 24 hours a day, 7 days in a week, 4 weeks in a month and 12 months in a year. Meaning is that we'll never have a rest day. So, I'M IN FOR A TIME OUT. Ha ha ha.... 

LIFETIME debuts its new family reality series Mom’s Time Out on August 28, featuring three families from Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines as they undertake a role reversal social experiment.  The three moms take a 5-day holiday in Vietnam together, leaving the dads to manage their kids and household.  Premiering every Thursday at 9pm, the five half-hour series showcases the interesting and sometimes funny results when these typically hands-off dads are left in charge.

SESAME STREET LIVE - ELMO MAKES MUSIC

Sesame Street always reminds me when I was a child as Sesame Street was one of my favourite movie show during my younger days and after 35 years it refresh my memory again. Looks like I felt young as before. Ha ha ha...

The Fun & Furry Musicians Arriving at Resorts World Genting on 28 November 2014 and expect Creatively entertaining! That is the two words to conclude the special appearance by Elmo and his friends from Sesame Street last Sunday at the Ground Floor, Highstreet of 1 Utama Shopping Centre in conjunction with Genting Mega Fun Roadshow.
Sesame Street the popular educational television program designed for preschoolers has been a great success for 45 years, making it one of the longest-running shows in television history. ‘Sesame Street Live - Elmo Makes Music at Resorts World Genting will feature nearly two dozen songs, including classics that children will love to sing along with songs such as C Is for Cookie and The Alphabet Song during the performance from 28th November 2014 until 3 January 2015.

The Sesame Street Live - Elmo Makes Music’ is part of the Genting Mega Fun road show that started since 13th August. Up to 1,888 special preview tickets scheduled for 27 November 2014 to the show has been given out to lucky winners. Audience at the launch also participated in the Reading Together and muppet making workshop. Mommy and Daddy too won a night stay at First World Hotel and hopefully can redeem in during November.
