Miracles Do Happen When We Believe in God

I'm sure some of you might agreed with me that Miracles Do Happen When We Believe in God. I had encountered it when I gave birth to my 2nd baby, CW. CW was born in 2005 and when she was a month old, her skin start yellowish. I brought her to a child specialist and blood was taken to test but the Paediatric assured me that it might be her skin problem only. After a day, the result was out and the test shown that her blood was yellowish too. The Paediatric faster wrote a letter and refer her to a Liver Specialist at Selayang Hospital. The Specialist there once examine CW and read the letter, she informed us that she need to admit CW to the hospital on that day itself.

Everyday CW's blood was taken for testing. Almost 4-5 times in a day. I dare not see it coz' when her blood was taken, she will definitely cry and I will cry with her too. After staying at Selayang Hospital for 2 days, the Liver Specialist said CW had a very bad liver problem and liver transplant might needed or she might not survive but she was too small to do the transplant. The Specialist then get my approval to test my blood to see whether my liver was suitable for her and I told the Specialist even if I need to give to her my whole liver, I will do that too. As a Mom, I am the one who gave her a life to live and I will still give it to her if my life was needed. My thought is she should be given more times to stay and look at this beautiful World instead.

I pray everyday to God to save my daughter and I willing to shorten my life for her just to see her growing up healthily. I asked my Mom to go to few Temples and pray on my behalf while I stayed with CW during the whole ordeal. My Mom assures me that when she ask God on CW's situation, both God that she had ask also said CW will recover. My mind was confuse and I just want the best for CW and pray for her recovery.

After the 3rd day, the Specialist told me that they are going to transfer CW to General Hospital since they don't have enough equipment to save or cure her. They use an ambulance to transfer her there. I felt really scared and every time I look at her, I will cry.

During the weekend, I unable to accept the stress anymore and I wanted to discharge her for few days to bring her home and to see Sifu coz' I don't believe in what the doctors said. The doctor at first reluctant but I stress out that if I wanted her to be discharge, I willing to sign the consent form that if anything happen to little my girl, I will be responsible for that. I just couldn't stand to wait and see and I want some actions to be taken instead.

The next morning, I brought her to see a Sifu because when I had a mild stroke, I believe the Sifu had cured me and I hope the Sifu could cure her too. After waited for 1 hour, we able to met up with Sifu but when Sifu look at my daughter, he said CW will cure in a year time without any medication or surgery. I was happy with what he said but I told him that the doctor said my daughter is really sick. Sifu had assured me that everything will back to normal soon.

When I admit back CW on Monday morning, the head of the Specialist of GH named Dr Choy had met up with me for the first time. He said he heard about the disease that my daughter had when he attended conference overseas but he never treat any patient before. He diagnosed CW having a Citrullinemia Type II.

Citrullinemia Type II is a condition in which the body is unable to make citrin, a protein that helps move substances within the cell. These substances are important for breaking down sugars, producing proteins and nucleotides, and allowing for the normal function of the liver.

Dr Choy assured me that CW will recover in a year time without any medication or surgery as what the Sifu had told me before. It is unbelievable but miracle did happened. CW was discharged on that day.

After CW case, the doctors only found out that they had diagnose some of the babies wrongly with different disease even though they had the same result with CW. CW was the first to diagnose with Citrullinemia Type II in Malaysia and Mommy Jane really need to thank God for opening the eyes of the doctors to think broadly in her case to avoid wrongly diagnose that might affect her life.
CW at the age of 7. She is always Mommy Jane's princess who had survive from the miracle of life
After few times brought CW for medical check-up and blood test, she soon fully recover. CW was healthy now and she was indeed a smart girl. From that case onwards, Mommy Jane always believe that Miracles do happen when we believe in God. Whether you're a Buddhist, Muslims, Christians, Hindus and whatever ethnic, it is important that we believe in our own God and had faith with HIM. HE will always help us in our life and gave us the miracles of life.

  3. What a test it was from God but God will not test those who cannot endure. Miracle happened to CW indeed and it also helped doctors to have a first look at this problem.
