As Mom to my 5 Little Angels, I will always encourage my Little Angels to bring food from home to ensure they have enough nutritious to stay healthy instead of junk food at recess. I will pack them with homemade snack packs which is nutritious and yummy.

4 Easy-Peasy and Nutritious Smucker’s Treats:
PB&J Sandwich Cut-Outs

Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 6 slices white or whole wheat bread
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup Smucker’s® Sugar Free Concord Grape Jam
Directions:
1. Trim edges from bread
slices using a serrated knife. Make 1 star in the centre of 3 bread slices by
cutting with 1-inch star-shaped cookie cutter.
2. Spread peanut butter
evenly onto 3 whole bread slices. Spoon jam evenly onto centre of peanut
butter, spreading gently into a 2-inch circle. Top with cut-out bread slices
to make sandwiches.

Fresh Fruit Pitas with Smucker’s Sugar Free Jam
|
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1
cup cold reduced fat milk
- 1 (4 serving size) pkg. instant sugar free chocolate
pudding and pie filling
- 1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream or yogurt
- 1/2 cup Smucker's® Strawberry Preserves
- 8 mini sized whole wheat pita pockets
- 4 cups assorted fresh fruit like banana, pineapple,
cantaloupe, strawberries and grapes.
Directions:
1. Mix milk and pudding
with mixer for 2 minutes; stir in sour cream and preserves, mixing until well
combined.
2. Cut opening across
top of pita. Fill with 1/2 cup fruit.
3. Dollop ¼ cup sauce
into a separate container to be used for later consumption.

Crunchy Orange Carrot Rice Cake
|
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 plain rice cake
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon Smucker's® Sugar Free Orange
Marmalade
- 1 tablespoon shredded carrot
- 1 tablespoon raisins
Directions:
1. Spread rice
cake with peanut butter.
2. Combine
orange marmalade and carrot. Spread over peanut butter.
3. Sprinkle
with raisins.

Strawberry Cheesecake Snacks
|
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Smucker's® Sugar Free Strawberry
Preserves
- 1 tablespoon reduced fat cream cheese, softened
- 4 wheat cracker sections (1 full sheet)
- 1 medium strawberry, cut in quarters for
garnish
Directions:
1. Blend
preserves and cream cheese together until smooth.
2. Spread
mixture on 4 graham cracker sections. Top each with a quartered strawberry.
