School Holiday Trip at Gloria Residences Genting Highlands

Just few days left before 1st term of the school holiday begins. Any plan yet ? If not, you might want to discover a new place to stay at Genting Highlands. Mommy Jane and Little Angels went for a 3 days 2 nights staycation at Gloria Residences last weekend and at this post, I will share out our experiences during our staycations.

Gloria Residences Ion Delemen is located at Genting Highlands. Surrounded by one of the world's oldest rainforests and approximately 6,000 feet above sea level, it takes approximately 45 minutes from KL City Centre by car and 90 minutes from KLIA. From the Genting City of Entertainment and First World Plaza, the property is only 10 minutes away, a great place for a short getaway for family and friends.

Mommy Jane and 4 Little Angels went to Gloria Residences Ion Delemen Genting Highlands after work on Friday to check-in for a 3-bedroom apartment. Since my eldest Angel, CM is having exam starting from Mon, she opt to stay at home with maid to study and go for tuition instead. I feel proud of her for her commitment in her study.

There are a total of 332 elegantly decorated service residences from Studio to 4-Bedroom Penthouse. The units are exquisitely furnished in elegant and stylish decor with distinctive amenities, facilities, kitchen and each unit also has their own individual balcony overlooking the breath-taking view of the rainforests and mountains while enjoying the cool atmosphere.

Kitchen facilities were provided too if you plan to cook at the Apartment. Drinks like mineral water and packets drinks are free. Complete toilet utilities i.e. cotton buds, shower cap, soap, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, disposable bedroom slippers, Italy imported hair shampoo and body shampoo for our convenient are provided at each unit. Every unit also have their own Microwave, hair dryer, fridge, safe deposit, bathrobe and towels, a perfect place to stay with family and friends.

Sharing the video of my apartment as below. As you can see, the apartment is spacious and clean and comfortable for 6 persons to stay. Me and Daddy occupied the master bedroom, CW and WJ occupied the 2 single beds while WH and WT occupied the queen size bed. 

What are the facilities provided by the 5-star boutique hotel ? Do find an indoor heated swimming pool, indoor heated Jacuzzi, 24-hour state-of-the art gymnasium, kids' playground and 24-hours kids' club. My Little Angels love swimming at the heated swimming pool, relaxing dipping at the jacuzzi pool, warm-up themselves at the Sauna room after swimming and playing at the indoor playground at the Kids' Club. All the hotel guests are entitle to use their scheduled complimentary shuttle service with 2 way returns from Sky Avenue via its First World Hotel Entrance operate daily from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. Just download MyTourism App to book your seats. 24-hour taxi service and Grab car service are available too. Me and my Little Angels using the free shuttle service to Sky Avenue for shopping and makan-makan time.

Breakfast is complimentary for all the hotel guests. My Little Angels said their breakfast is the best coz' not all hotels provided chicken feet as breakfast and my Little Angels love it so much. Ha ha ha !!! Pau, dim sum, freshly baked bread, nasi lemak, meehoon, fried eggs, tofu, fish, curry chicken, porridge, red bean, soup, salads, cereals and many more. 

As for our lunch, we went to Kembali Kitchen for our buffet but ala-carte menu is available too. Their bbq fish, salted egg squid, herbal chicken soup are delicious. Be pampered with the sweet desserts and longan tong sui too.

If you're looking for a tea-time session, then head over to Fairy Tales Cafe. There are 3 choices of the Hi-Tea set i.e. sweet, savories or a combination of both. The set is ideal for 2 pax. We chose the combination of both to try it out. My Little Angels love the Macaroon, Open Egg Sandwich and Scone and Jam while me and Daddy prefer Velvet Cheese Tart, Smoked Chicken Quiche and Tomato Bruschetta. All servings come with Premium Pickwick Tea choice of Black English Tea, Black Earl Grey Tea, Green Tea & Lemon, Green Tea & Jasmine, Infusion Peppermint and Infusion Chamomile. Price per set at RM114.   

For dinner time, we wanted to try something unique and something different. We chose to dine-in at Dinetopia. Dinetopia give us a 360-degree Cinematic Dining experience. A unique 3/4-course culinary journey interpreting the perfect blend of art, gastronomy and multi-sensory projection technology. There are 3 sets available for 3 different theme i.e. Magical (3-course) at RM180 nett per pax, Enchanteur (4-course) at at RM235 nett per pax and Miraculous (4-course) at at RM299 nett per pax. Red Wine, White Wine, Beer, Cocktail, Mocktail, Fruit Iced Tea and Soft Drinks are available at a separate charge from RM15 to RM186 per drink.

Sharing out at our Magical theme of fine dining experience. As starter, we were served with Thai Mango Salad with Blun Nam Dressing and Romaine Lettuce. Light and refreshing taste to start our meal.

Our main course is Chicken Roulade with Caramelised Onion served with Ribbon Acar and Asam Pedas. The chicken stuffed with roulade is incredibly tasty. The Asam Pedas sauce is not too spicy and dip with it, the meal is perfect.

Our dessert is special and this is the first time we taste it. The Italian desserts, Deconstruct Tiramisu Infused with Sour Plum is unique and refreshing. The dessert is in sweet and savoury taste infused with coffee, layered with fresh creams and salted caramel and filled with fresh berries. An awesome twist on our tastebud.

The extra-ordinary dining experience is transformed and lifted into a whole new level. Each experience matches the culinary delights served. We enjoyed the meals surrounding the backdrop. The experience is the first of its kind as we engage to our senses as we dine, the perfect place to enjoy our dinner..

Me and my Little Angels enjoyed our 3 days 2 nights staycation at Gloria Residences Ion Delemen Genting Highlands. The serviced residences is beautiful with balcony at every unit. It is very comfortable, spacious and quiet. Their staffs are friendly too. Great place to release our stress and enjoy the beauty of the nature with cooling atmosphere. We definitely will be back again to bring my eldest Angel, CM here to enjoy the stay as much as we had.
